What did I see? Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I LOVED it! Of course, being 25 and growing up watching the other 3 Indy films, how could I NOT like it!? I’ve always had a bit of a crush on Harrison Ford…and still find him sexy at 65! If given the chance, I’d definitely do him! LMAO!

While I think the plot was very interesting, the action (which Ford did for himself-for the largest part) was GREAT! He’s still got it after nearly 20 years. Plus, with Lucas and Spielberg collaborating on another movie, made it wonderfully full of twists and several unusual elements. For example, there was the element of aliens/Area 51 combined with Mayan culture. Not too far-fetched considering some people feel that aliens must have helped our ancient cultures accomplish what they did given the technology available at that time. (Ok, ok, I’m a bit of a sci-fi nut. And lean toward the metaphysical side of life.) I also loved that they brought Marion Ravenwood (actress Karen Allen) back from Raiders of the Lost Ark. Still as spunky as ever! I had some good laughs during the whole movie, but she and Indy are SO great!

I have to ask, though, with adding Shia LeBoef as Mutt Williams (aka Henry Jones III), does that mean we’ll get The Adventures of Mutt Williams?? The ending definitely makes you wonder about it. It was a lot of fun watching the little kids, 4-5-6 years old, discover Indiana Jones for the first time. To see the wonder in their eyes and hear them say, “Indy is awesome!!!” at the end of the movie.
